DESCRIPTION:As part of his work with the USCCB Subcommittee on Certification for Ecclesial Ministry and Service\, Dr. DelMonico will be a presenter at the annual NACPA convocation. The organization promotes leadership in human resources\, finance and administration that models Gospel values\, promoting justice in the workplace. NACPA promotes comprehensive church personnel systems which integrate Catholic social teaching and sound management principles; strengthen working relationships among Church leaders\, ministers and employees; develop church personnel and human resource skills and competence and commit to excellence through Gospel values. The theme of the 2023 convocation is “Focus on the Future.” \nDr. DelMonico will be presenting on the topic of “An Introduction to Lay Ministry Standards for Hiring Agents\,” drawing upon the work of the USCCB subcommittee in approving and promoting national and diocesan ministry formation and certification standards.
